How to transfer contacts

You can transfer it via Bluetooth you can tap the contact and send and on some phone it will give you the option to send it on Bluetooth all you have to do is select the person and be near their phone and you could send it

Another way is to text it to someone just select the contact and you could text all your friends that you have changed your number and put your new number in the text it's probably the best way to do it because its fast and simple

The last way i know is to put all your contacts on a sd card and once its done you can put it in your friends phone and put ll the contacts on their phone this the least useful since most phones don't come with one so you have to buy one yourself so i consider this the most useless because phones don't usually come with a lot of space for a lot of contacts

Unit 14 P6

How texting can affect out social life

Texting is faster than calling someone since you can just type it and then someone will receive it and they will know what to do or where to go but there are many problems with texting:
Sometimes your friend has changed there number and it doesn't tell you tat he has received the message
it's much more lazy than phoning someone
Sometimes your provider is being slow and messages takes a long time for people to receive it

But it has many advantages:
You can text people from around the world it doesn't have to be a couple hours away
It is very brief and better than having a long conversation on a call
It uses less of your credit because a cal can last like 10 mins but a text can just tell someone something quickly

But this can affect your social life because if your texting someone its very brief and can make you distant to your friends compared to if you phoned someone and they can hear you but in a text it's just letters and this makes people lazy

Also cyber bullying is an issue since someone can text you from an unknown number and bully you over texting this is very bad since your phone can't tell you who it is and this forces you to change number or something like that  because they person who is bullying doesn't have to face who their bullying so its so easy to do compared to physical bullying you have to be close to who your bullying

One way they could improve their service is to invest into a iPad 3 with 16GB with this it can be used as a Satnav and a signature recording device at the same time is also has 3G so you could go on a parcel tracking website and see where your workers are when their on a job, also this would cost 300-400 pounds depending on where you buy it some also come with a warranty so if  you lost it or broke it it would have a warranty.

Another thing you could give to workers is a phone so they can see the location of where to go quickly  this could be very useful since they could check what time it is going to take on the fly since apple maps is very good at detecting addresses and how long it will take also there is a Google maps app you can download if it isn't  fast enough

Using a sophisticated tracking device to see where your deliveries also could be used to track the vans/trucks there in to see if there still in the right direction to deliver whatever it is.

Unit 14 P4

There are two ways to send items from one place to another is through 3G this is the phones built in broadband it has the capability to send videos and photos and more also send at a high speed to save time and battery and is nearly as fast as WiFi and is built in with most of the modern phones I phones Nokia Lumia and so on if your sending items at your house then you can use WiFi that is built in with your Broadband and sends items faster than 3G also with 3G you could send it to a photo sharing website and just collect when your on site or at home

Phones can connect to other phones via Bluetooth with this you can send photos songs and videos wirelessly with a infrared signal it can only go up to 5 meters at most and then will stop but when your in range you can send items without any cables or anything like that, also with Bluetooth you can share anything that is supported by it games, videos and even ringtones

Wi-Fi is a local network that uses high frequency radio signals to transmit and receive data from far places it is faster than Bluetooth but its also uses more battery than Bluetooth so they both have pluses and minuses but most phones like I phones have it pre installed and over time Wi-Fi is getting more faster and better

4G refers to the fourth generation of cellular wireless standards. It is a successor to 3G and it is the most advanced protocol yet and its also the latest in wireless connection its also ten times faster than 3 g and 15 times faster than 2g

Conclusion

all in all Bluetooth is good in terms of its service but its easy to hack which can result in a bad thing also Wi-Fi will be better over time and it will get more popularity because its pre installed on the latest phones
